Screening at Film Festivals Worldwide

‘Blue Train’ is a film about Liam, a man in his mid-thirties pervaded by a feeling of nostalgia for his childhood years. He takes a trip in time, in his phobias and memories, to find his true identity and utopian period of life. The destination of his trip is the imaginary mountain where young Liam is (his 5-year old self). The top of the mountain symbolizes his utopia- goal, while the foot of the mountain symbolizes his present state. The passengers who visit him in the coach of memories are key characters from his life who have played a determining role in shaping his personality. The train is the non- place, where reality meets fiction. This is a trip towards Liam’s unreachable goal, ending in his befriending himself and his past. In this film the boundaries of the factual and the imagination blur to create a dreamy atmosphere.
